DNBS and Tessa Developments worked closely together on the Moreton Townhome project since its inception in 2016. They provided a complete service from the project inception to the finalisation of construction and the sealing of survey plans. Completed scope included initial preliminary design and costings (which were accurate to the actual construction cost at the beginning of the project), detailed civil design services and administration of the civil and internal plumbing construction contracts, which achieved a significant saving for the client. DNBS provided innovative solutions, that enabled the development of a site with a challenging topography and tricky civil constraints to deliver a product that not only exceeded expectation but was judged the 2019 winner of the ‘UDIA Qld Medium Density Development’ category and was a finalist in the ‘UDIA Qld’s President’s Award’ for the development of 2019”. DNBS collaborated well with all stakeholders and provided a quality service in a timely manner

The Flexibility of Dane and the Team at DNBS Consulting Engineers has allowed them to, successfully work with and around external stakeholders, in a timely manner,on our 160 lot “Norman Springs” Residential Subdivision, with the goal posts of the external works constantly changing and potential to delay our construction, their commitment to limit variation costs, and provide timely responses, for the numerous redesigns, with personalised service was much appreciated.

In addition, and concurrently ,with Norman Springs ,they completed significant works on our 16ha, Pimpama District Centre site, incorporating and completing, Major Drainage, Bulk Earthworks and Intersection Works

Over the past two years I have enjoyed the opportunity to work with Dane and DNBS on a number of projects. Dane brings a broad civil engineering knowledge and skill base to any project. My Material Change of Use Application for a Residential Subdivision at 97 Mudjimba Beach Road on the Sunshine Coast had been laying dormant for almost a year. With significant flooding and ecological constraints, the project had come to a stalemate with council and was likely to be a refusal. Dane was able to highlight opportunities in another consultants report, concerning a neighboring allotment and use them to address Sunshine Coast Regional Council’s (SCRC) flooding concerns. He also connected me with an ecological expert and negotiated with SCRC to get my Development Application across the line. I’m really grateful to my friend Nathan for pointing me in the direction of DNBS
